Elma Desk Lamp

 

Materials: Light purple or pastel purple painted metal. Chromed metal parts, chromed goose-neck. Bakelite socket. The lampshade is white painted inside.

Height: 31 cm / 10.23” – adjustable

Width:  10 cm / 5.51”

Electricity: 1 bulb E14, 1 x 60 watt maximum, 110/220 volt.
Any type of light bulb can be used, but a small round one is preferred.

Period: 1970s – Mid-Century Modern.

Designer: To be appraised.

Manufacturer: Elma, Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Other versions: Made in many models and colours.

These lights are often attributed to GepoAnvia or Herda, 3 light producers from the Netherlands. However, these lights were never made or sold by these companies. These lamps were a big success in The Netherlands and Belgium (Benelux) in the 1970s.
