Louis Poulsen Albertslund Pendant Lamp
Materials: Round lampshade made of white enamelled metal (iron). Clear plastic or glass. A non-glare ring, three bolts and a Saturn ring, which serves as a reflector. White porcelain E27 socket.

Other versions: The Louis Poulsen Albertslund lamp was originally designed as an outdoor post light and wall lamp. Over the years, the series has appeared in several versions, colours and materials. Both plastic and glass have been used for the shade, LED versions are also known, and the lamp has an IP44 rating, meaning it is protected against splashing water.
The outdoor post and wall versions remain part of the Louis Poulsen collection. The best-known current models are the Albertslund Wall and the Albertslund Maxi Post, while the Albertslund Maxi was introduced in 1980.:contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
The Albertslund lamp was originally designed by Jens Møller-Jensen in 1963 for a residential project in Albertslund, Denmark. Jens Møller-Jensen
Jens Møller-Jensen was born in 1935 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He graduated as a medical and technical instrument engineer in 1955 and later completed his studies in architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1964. In 1967, Møller-Jensen founded his own design office.
Throughout his career, he created numerous industrial and product designs for companies such as Bang & Olufsen, SHIPMATE, Novo Nordisk and Louis Poulsen. He also contributed to the development of the IC3 train for the Danish State Railways and worked on graphic design projects such as sign systems for the Danish Highway Authority and the railways.
His best-known design for Louis Poulsen is the Satellit / Albertslund outdoor lamp, a model that has been used internationally for decades. This design earned him the 2000 Danish Classical Design Award.
Today, the design office is run by his son Peter Møller-Jensen, continuing the family tradition as a third-generation design and architecture practice.
