Materials: Bronze or some type of moulded brass for the bird. 2 brass arrows and parts. Waxed paper candlesticks. Plastic and copper E14 sockets.

Any type of light bulb can be used, not a specific one preferred. For this setup decorative light bulbs from Sigtay were used. They are no longer in production.

Other versions: This parrot wall lamp was in all probability produced made in a few colours.
This parrot wall lamp is often presented as a lamp from the 1930’s. It is made in some antique style, but this lamp is produced in the 1970’s. The oldest somewhere in the late 1960’s. The socket is made in modern PVC plastic. Also the wiring is from that period. And it is all original. On the socket is a G.S. logo pressed with Modele Deposé on it. French for “deposited model“. In all probability this lamp was made in France or Belgium.
No information can be found about a G.S company. Many firms in France have that name, but not one that produced electric parts in the 1960’s, 1970’s.
