Glashütte Limburg was founded right after the Second World War in 1947 and is a member of the BEGA Group. The company still exists and they make beautiful (industrial) lighting. Glashütte Limburg received 160 iF-awards (from 1960 until 2017). Since 2017 the name Glashütte Limburg is no longer used. All lights are sold under the brand name BEGA.

Limburg an der Lahn is a small town in Germany in the western state Hessen on the borders of the river Lahn with a population of some 35.000 inhabitants (2016).
