Materials: Tripod teak wood legs base and center piece. Long glass fibre tubular lampshade. 2 E27 sockets.

Lampshade: ∅ 20 cm / 7.87”
Electricity: 2 bulbs E27, 2 x 60 watt maximum, 110/220 volt.
Any type of light bulb can be used. Not a specific one preferred.
Period: 1960s – Mid-Century Modern.

Manufacturer: To be determined.
Other versions: Probably made in some variations and/or sizes.
This Swedish tripod rocket floor lamp has no label or whatsoever. The switch is made by VLM Components from Italy and has the Swedish approval logo pressed in the Bakelite bottom.
The glass fibre used for this floor lamp is similar with the fibreglass mats used for fibreglass moulding.
In all probability it is a Swedish lamp or at least made for the Swedish market.

VLM Components
The switch of this floor lamp was made by VLM Components in the 1960s.
VLM Components was founded in 1945 in Buccinasco, a small village near Milan, Italy. VLM Components is part of the Relco Group, founded in 1967. Today they are the owners of the brands Relco, Leuci, Relco Lighting, VLM Components and Segno. The switch on this table lamp is model 450; the small model of the famous switch designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1968.
