1950s Scandinavian Ribbed Glass Flush Mount
Materials: Round white opal ribbed frosted/mat crystal glass lampshade. Galvanised metal (iron) ceiling mount. Bakelite and porcelain E27 socket.
Height: 11 cm / 4.33”
Width: ∅ 25 cm / 9.84”
Electricity: 1 bulb E27, 1 x 75 watt maximum, 110/220 volt.
Any type of light bulb with an E27 screw base can be used. For this type of lamp preferable an opaque/white or frosted light bulb.
Period: 1950s, 1960s – Mid-Century Modern.

Other versions: This 1950s Scandinavian ribbed glass flush mount was probably produced in some variations. In all probability also oval and rectangular lamps were made.
This lamp has no label or whatsoever. The Bakelite socket has several marks on the inside of the porcelain part as you can see below, but on the back it only has the certification mark for Sweden (ETL SEMKO). In all probability this flush mount was made in Sweden. It was acquired in Belgium many years ago.
