1960s Teka Table Lamp

Materials: Round red aluminium base. Frosted opal glass globe lampshade. E14 socket.

Height: 20 cm / 7.87”

Width: ∅ 12 cm / 4.72”

Base: ∅ 10 cm / 3.93”

Electricity: 1 bulb E14, 1 x 60 watt maximum, 110/220 volt.
Any type of light bulb can be used, not a specific one preferred.

Period: 1960s, 1970s – Mid-Century Modern.

Designer: To be appraised.

Manufacturer: TEKA, Theodor Krägeloh & Co, Dahlenbrück, Germany.

Other versions: This 1960s Teka table lamp was made in several colours.

TEKA

Not much information to be found about the TEKA, Theodor Krägeloh & Co company, unfortunately. It must be long gone. They received 2 iF Design Awards, in 1964 and 1966.

Another lamp company exists with the same name, but it got nothing to do with this TEKA. It was founded in the nineties.
