Een nieuw materiaal doet triomfaal zijn intrede

Vinyl. Raak’s ontwerpgroep paste dit toe voor fluorescentiearmaturen en er ontstonden kantige, mannelijke ontwerpen met markante karaktertrekken. Vinyl is zijdeglanzend mat en heeft een lichtdoorlaat en diffusie gelijk aan die van plexiglas. Het verkleurt niet en blijft dus jaren en jaren achtereen mat-wit. Bij de ontwerpen in Vinyl is veel variatie-… veel vrijheid voor de architect … een uitgangspunt geweest. Zo zijn er vierkante tegels om staccato over het plafond te verstrooien, maar ook langwerpige vormen die legato tot één lange lichtstroom gekanaliseerd kunnen worden. Alle Vinyl-ornamenten zijn geprofileerd: diepe inkervingen van welhaast ‘stoere’ vorm, die vanuit elk standpunt steeds weer een ander licht- en schaduwbeeld vertonen. Vinyl, het nieuwe materiaal zal in uw toekomstige fluorescentieprojecten een steeds belangrijker rol gaan spelen. De prijzen voor alle Raak-fluorescentiearmaturen gelden compleet gemonteerd met de nieuwste Philips voorschakelapparatuur, echter zonder lampen en starters.

A new material makes its entrance triumphantly

Vinyl. Raak’s design group used this for fluorescent luminaires and sharp, masculine designs emerged with striking character traits. Vinyl is satin gloss mat and has a light transmission and diffusion similar to that of plexiglass. It does not discolour and therefore remains matte white for years and years. With the designs in Vinyl, a lot of variety-… a lot of freedom for the architect… was a starting point. For example, there are square tiles to scatter staccato over the ceiling, but also elongated shapes that can be channeled to one long luminous flux. All Vinyl ornaments are profiled: deep notches of an almost ‘tough’ shape, which show a different light and shadow image from every point of view. Vinyl, the new material will play an increasingly important role in your future fluorescent projects. The prices for all Raak fluorescent luminaires are completely fitted with the latest Philips ballasts, but without lamps and starters.
