The Lehigh company was founded in 1961. It is a family business. The first lamps the company produced were lamps such as this chandelier, all made in shiny brass (or painted brass) with a white/opaque glass diffuser.
Today the Lehigh company is specialised in architectural and performance lighting control systems. They build them for projects all over the United States.
The electric parts of this chandelier were made by Leviton Manufacturing Company, Inc. from Melville, New York. The socket inside the lamp is a double E27 Bakelite socket. On top there are two E14 Bakelite sockets.
Leviton Manufacturing Company, Inc. was founded in 1906 by Isidor Leviton. It is the largest privately held manufacturer of electrical wiring equipment in North America.
Many other American companies produced similar pendant lamps and chandeliers. A good example is the Virden lighting company. A catalogue with several lamps in this style can be found here on Vintageinfo.
