Materials: Round black anthracite base with a built-in transformer 220 – 12 volt. Two curved chrome rods. Round black anthracite lampshade. 1 thick hand blown glass disc with the cancer zodiac sing and 1 small disc on top. Porcelain socket.

Electricity: 1 bulb G4, 1 x 20 watt maximum, 12 volt.
Any type of light bulb can be used, not a specific one preferred.

The lampshade is revolving and also the lamp itself is rotatable.
At some point, zodiac lamps became a popular item on Murano. Also Carlo Nason designed a range of lamps for his company iTRE.
La Murrina
The La Murrina company was founded in the 1960s as a small business started by a group of glass-worker masters. In 1974, La Murrina was bought by a family from Milan. Today they are located at Via Isonzo, 26, 22078 Turate (Co), Italy. The furnace is still on the Murano island and located at Riva Longa, 17 – Murano Venice, Italy.
Lino Tagliapietra is the most well known designer of the company. He designed numerous lamps and objects for La Murrina in the seventies.
