As we can see on the lamps they produced, the company was active from the 1950s until the 1980s. EWÅ was located in Värnamo. Värnamo is a locality and the seat of Värnamo Municipality, in the south of Sweden. It has some 20.000 inhabitants including Bruno Mathsson (1907 – 1988) and Dan Ihreborn (born 1952), well known for their furniture and lamp designs.
