Carefully cut out of brass and copper elements and soldered together on a round brass base, many years ago.
The cover plate on the bottom is some kind of cardboard with 1940s or older wallpaper glued on it. The wiring was weather worn and had to be renewed. The brass socket and switch are original and date from the 1950’s. The base was probably a recycled one from another old lamp.
In all probability an artisan piece or DIY and one of a kind.
Made in the style of the lighting made by Maison Jansen, Hans Kögl, Maison Bages, Maison Charles…
Acquired in France some years ago.
