This lamp is made in 1973. The rise and fall mechanism has a date stamp on it, and is made by the Italian Rolly company. Rolly was a manufacturer that produced rise & fall mechanisms for many light companies throughout Europe.
These pendant lamps always have a switch on top of the lampshade. Some versions have gold coloured anodized aluminium.
The Stilux company no longer exists. There is a Stilux company in Milan, but it’s got nothing to do with lighting: “Stilux is a company that deals with professional printing and paper converting solutions for communication”. There was also a Sti-lux company that made lamps in the 1990s, but that also no longer exists.
