Materials: Round travertine (limestone) base. Round red painted metal (iron) disc. Metal (iron) white painted rod/pole. White and red acrylic curved flag. 2 aluminium rivets. White painted Bakelite E14 socket.

Electricity: 1 bulb E14, 1 x 60 watt maximum, 110/220 volt.
Any type of light bulb can be used, not a specific one preferred. For this setup a frosted bulb was used.

Other versions: This red and white flag table lamp exists in several variations. The base of the lamp with the red ring was used for several other lamps. Sometimes a lamp appears for sale on Italian websites or eBay.
A table lamp with a white globe and a red peaked cap was spotted on eBay in January 2019. Unfortunately the seller of this table lamp did not want a photo of his lamp on the Vintageinfo website. The reason is unclear. He even removed is advertisement.

All the electric parts were produced by VLM Components from Buccinasco, near Milan in Italy. These parts were made in the late 70’s, early 80’s. The lamp was also acquired in Italy. In all probability it is an Italian table lamp.
The flag is red, white, red. Flags in this pattern are used as diving flags. Also the flag of Peru is made like this.
