Materials: Orange painted iron round wall mount. Pull cord switch inside. Chrome parts and 2 knee joints. Some metal parts and screws. Orange painted metal (iron) eyeball lampshade. Ornamental chrome handle on top. Bakelite E14 socket.

Any type of small light bulb can be used, but a spot light as used in this setup is ideal.

Other versions: This orange globe wall lamp was in produced in several colours. Also a chandelier exists. Probably also made as a table or desk lamp. The chrome ornamental rod on top of the lampshade can be used to adjust the globe in any direction.
This lamp has everything to be an Italian wall lamp, reading lamp or picture light, but it is not. It is made in the style of some lamps designed by Gino Sarfatti in the early 60s.
Te De Light
Nothing to be found about the Te De Light or TD Light company. Occasionally a lamp appears with a label. Often the paper label is gone. Their lamps were produced in the 50s, 60s and early 70s. Several of them are in the style of some S.A. Boulanger tube lamps.

It is one of the biggest suppliers of switches, cords and plugs in Europe. VLM Components became famous for the switches they produce that were designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1968.
