Honsel Leuchten Orange Globe Floor Lamp

Materials: Round chromed metal (iron) base. Cast iron counterweight inside. Long thin chrome rod. Black plastic adjustment nut and parts. Orange acrylic globe lampshade. 2 E27  sockets.

Height: 153 cm / 60.23”

Width: ∅ 50 cm / 19.68”

Base: ∅ 21 cm / 8.26”

Electricity: 2 bulbs E27, 2 x 60 watt maximum, 110/220 volt.
Any type of light bulb can be used, not a specific one preferred. 

Period: 1970s – Mid-Century Modern.

Other versions: This Honsel Leuchten orange globe floor lamp exists in a few colours. At least also made in white.  Also made as a table lamp. This one is model 40372.

Honsel Leuchten

Honsel Leuchten was founded in 1833 as Gebrüder Wolff, today Fischer & Honsel GmbH. Fischer & Honsel GmbH bought Gebruder Wolff in 1959. This makes Honsel the oldest lighting company in the lighting city Neheim-Hüsten.

Honsel develops, produces and distributes decorative lighting until today. Honsel has an operational site of 32,000 m² (7.9 acres). The company employs about 100 people. The company merged with Fischer Leuchten from Sundern to form Fischer & Honsel GmbH.

Neheim-Hüsten

Neheim-Hüsten (Arnsberg) is the light capital of Germany. Arnsberg is located in the north-east of the Sauerland in the Ruhr river valley.
