1960s Marset Floor Lamp

Materials: 2 black metal rods base, used as counterweight. Long folded chrome rod. Spiral cord. Some metal parts. Adjustable black half round lampshade. Bakelite E27 socket.

Height: 153 cm / 60.23”

Lampshade: ∅ 23 cm / 9.05”

Electricity: 1 bulb E27, 1 x 75 watt maximum, 110/220 volt.
Any type of light bulb can be used, not a specific one preferred.

Period: 1960s – Mid-Century Modern.

Designer: J. Perez & P. Aragay.

Manufacturer: Marset, Barcelona, Spain.

Other versions: This 1960s Marset floor lamp exists in several colours. Also a table lamp exists.

Not much is known about the company, they don’t tell much on their website, unfortunately. Some 50 people work for the firm. The factory & headquarters are located in Terrassa, not far from Barcelona. The company is present in New York, USA and it has showrooms in Cologne, Germany, Milan, Italy and Barcelona, Spain.
