1950s Opaque Glass Pendant Lamp

Materials: Hand blown incamiciato crystal glass. Some chromed metal parts, Bakelite socket.

Cord Length: 60 cm / 23.62”

Height: 33,5 cm / 13.18”

Width: ∅13,5 cm / 5.31”

Electricity: 1 bulb E27, 1 x 100 watt maximum, 110/220 volt.
Not any type of light bulb can be used. White glass uses frosted or opaque light bulbs. Clear bulbs creates stripes on the glass and therefor also on the walls.

Period: 1950s, 1960s – Mid-Century Modern.

Designer: To be appraised. 

Manufacturer: To be appraised.

Other versions: Unknown.

Incamiciato: overlay lattimo glass (= milky looking glass) with a layer of transparent (coloured) glass.

No label present. The socket is made in the 1950s, possibly also sold in the early 1960s.
