Materials: 19 “gold antique” painted metal (iron) leaves or petals lampshade, not brass. Made in the “sunburst” style. Gold painted Bakelite E27 socket.
Height: 15 cm / 5.90” – with bulb, 10 cm / 3.93” – without bulb.
Width: 30 cm / 11.81”
Electricity: 1 bulb E27, 1 x 60 watt maximum, 110/220 volt.
Any type of light bulb can be used, not a specific one preferred. For this setup a gold tipped bulb was used.
Period: 1980s – Hollywood Regency.
Designer: To be appraised.

Hans Kögl
The Hans Kögl company was founded in 1979. They produce classic lighting and modern lighting, country house lights and designer lamps. Florentine lights and light objects. Al their lamps are produced in Germany or Italy. Many of the early models are still in production. Also this lamp and their famous palm trees are still for sale.
The Massive company from Belgium has also produced a range of lamps in this style.
In Italy Banci Firenze in Florence, founded in 1899 by Giuseppe Banci produces similar lighting.
Also near Florence, in Mugello FLA Luce produced several lamps in this style. It was the company of Adriano Baccianti. The website is offline since 2016. It is unclear if the company ended business. (www.flaluce.com)
Edward F. Caldwell designed sunburst flush mounts for the White House in the USA in 1902.
This type of lamps are often attributed to the Belgian artist Willy Daro. Willy Daro never made lamps like this. Willy Daro always worked with high quality materials, often combined with minerals, gems and fossils.
