Materials: Burr (burl) walnut base. Brass rod inside the base. Brass decoration around the Bakelite socket. Turquoise/petrol blue fabric lampshade.

Base: 13,8 cm / 5.43”

Electricity: 1 bulb E27, 1 x 75 watt maximum, 110/220 volt.
Any type of light bulb can be used, not a specific one preferred.

Period: 1970s – Mid-Century Modern.

Designer: To be appraised, in the style of  some lamps designed by the American designer Paul R. Evans II (20 May 1931 – 7 March 1987).

Manufacturer: To be appraised, acquired in Milan, Italy. All the electric parts are Italian and made by the VLM company from Buccinasco, near Milan.

Paul R. Evans II was a furniture designer, sculptor and artist, who is most famous for his contributions to American furniture design and the American craft Movement of the 1970s. His creation of metal sculpted furniture set him apart. This lamp is most likely not by his hand but designed and made in Italy.
