Several years ago this table lamp was acquired on Ebay as a vintage Murano table lamp. Regrettably the wiring is at its oldest from the 90s.
An intensive search yielded nothing over the years. Never seen or encountered another one. It is possible it was made on the Venetian Island. It is definitely hand blown, there is no other way to produce this lamp. But of course they can also do that in China.
However, the mottled technique is often seen in Murano lamps and vases. Several famous companies such as AV Mazzega, Vistosi, AVEM and many others used/uses it. It is a long used technique. Also the German company Peill + Putzler produced many lamps in this technique.
