Any type of light bulb can be used, but a white, opaque or frosted one is preferred.

Other versions: This 1970s lantern pendant lamp exists in all probability in several colours. Probably also sold with another glass diffuser.
These type of lights were made for many years. The origin is vague, but they were presumably first made in France and Italy. Of course the design is based on the typical candlestick lanterns, but there was a revival of this design in the 1950’s.
This one is made in the 70’s. Not so obvious because in that period the popularity was long gone. It is possible that the electricity has been redone in the 70’s, but I guess not. In all probability produced in Germany, to see on the marks on the socket. Approved for Norway, Sweden, Switzerland en Germany.
