This lamp has some similarities with table lamps designed by the Italian designer and producer Vit Kellj, but it is not.
All the electric parts are made in the mid 1960s by the famous VLM Components company from Buccinasco, a small village near Milan.
In all probability this table lamp is electroplated with nickel. Chrome plating is different, brighter. Nickel-plated metal is darker. Chrome is a much harder metal and is more resistant to scratches.
