1950s Olive Green & White Glass Table Lamp
Materials: White opal glass lampshade, oil lamp style. Green painted clear glass base. Brass parts, iron clamp. Bakelite E14 socket.

Electricity: 1 bulb E14, 1 x 40 watt maximum, 110/220 volt.

This table or bedside lamp is made after an oil lamp design. No label or markings present, unfortunately. It has an olive green painted glass base. The bottom of the base is clear.
The wiring and switch were made in the late 50s, early 60s by an Italian company (to identify).
The plug was replaced in the late 60s, early 70s and was made by Vynckier. Vynckier is a Belgian company from Ghent. In the early years it was named Usines Vynckier Frères et Cie (Factories Vynckier Brothers and Co.) They are located in an impressive architectural building next to the Nieuwevaart-channel. Today it is owned by the American giant General Electric.
