Van Doorn
Van Doorn Verlichting B.V. is a lighting company from Culemborg, The Netherlands founded in 1937. The first years the company produced decorative lighting fixtures, chandeliers, table lamps and desk lamps.
In 1955 the family business moved into a, then ultramodern, building with an eye for the well-being of the people, with large windows from floor to roof ensuring a clear working climate.
Today Van Doorn is an innovative and creative all-rounder.Technology, experience, innovation and creativity are the core values that characterize the company.
Not only did Van Doorn produce their own lighting, but their catalogues show that they also sold lamps from the German company Bünte und Remmler (BuR).
Acciarri
The electric parts of this floor lamp were made by Acciarri, an Italian company. Acciarri is an Italian family name, mostly found on the east coast of the country. Nothing to be found about this company, it must be long gone. Acciarri also produced switches and other electric parts.
Many thanks to Max from AfterMidnight for all the pictures.
