Materials: Round flat metal (iron) base. Long metal rod with two rings. Painted in indigo purple. Frosted white opal glass globe. Galvanised metal E14 socket.

This table or floor lamp has many similarities with the Polluce floor lamp from Artemide. A design by Anna Fasolis, Enzo Mari Concorso, Studio Artemide-Domus. You can find it over here in the Artemide catalogue from 1973 on page 3.

Leclaire & Schäfer

The Gebruder Leclaire & Schäfer company was founded in 1893 in the light capital of Germany: Neheim. Despite the fact that the company has existed for a long time, there is hardly any information available. Below is the label of the company. Gebrüder Leclaire & Schäfer presumably ended business in the 1980s.

VLM Components

All the electric parts were made by VLM Components in the 1960s, early 1970s. The company was founded in 1945 in Buccinasco, a small village near Milan, Italy. The company became famous for the switches they produce since 1968, designed by Achille Castiglioni.

VLM Components is part of the Relco Group, founded in 1967. Today they are the owners of the brands Relco, Leuci, Relco Lighting, VLM Components and Segno.
