Any type of light bulbs can be used, not a specific one preferred. For this setup a normal frosted bulb was used.

As you can see, the exit of the wire is on the front, this lamp is designed to illuminate paintings or works of art or something else that needs to be lit. Can be used on the floor, sideboard, table… When unscrewed, the exit of the wire can be turned in every direction.
This lamp has some similarities with the Raak Amsterdam “Lichtkogel” as you can see below in the catalogue 8 from 1968. Many translations for “Lichtkogel”: light bullet, orb of light, fireball, parachute flare, flare…)
It is possible that this lamp was produced by Massive from Belgium. The company was “specialized” in copying lamps from others.
