Materials: Copper and black painted curved metal slats, folded as a globe. Wood (teak) ring on the bottom and a teak disc on top. Bakelite E27 socket.

Other versions: The Coronell Elektro globe pendant lamp was made in several varieties. Coronell made many lamps in this style. All pendant lamps or wall lamps. Most of them in copper or brass. Also wood, aluminium and iron was used.

Often said that these pendant lamps have been designed by Swedish architect and designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson, but those are false assumptions.

Coronell Elektro A/S

Coronell Elektro A/S was founded in 1964 by designer Werner Schou (Werner Hugo August Schou). The company produced many sculptural lights, mostly in metal with glass, wood or plastic in a crystal shaped style.

Coronell Elektro A/S ended business in 1991. Coronell Lampe ApS, the latter set up in Birkerød, Denmark operated from 1979 until 1998. Birkerød is some 20 km – 12,5 Mi from Hellerup. It was also owned by designer Werner Schou.
