1960s Rectangular Wall Light
Materials: Red painted metal (iron). White painted iron. Bakelite socket.
Length: 17,7 cm / 6.96”
Width: 6 cm / 2.36”
Height: 9 cm / 3.54”
Electricity: 1 bulb E14, 1 x 40 watt maximum, 110/220 volt.
Any type of light bulb can be used. Not a specific one preferred. For this setup a white bulb was used.
Period: 1950s – 1960s – Mid-Century Modern.

Manufacturer: To be appraised.
Made in the style of the CP 1 wall lights designed by Charlotte Perriand (France, 1903 – 1999) in 1962 for the Les Arcs Ski Resort and produced by Steph Simon.
The electric parts (socket and wire) are made by VLM Components, Italy in the 1960s.
Other companies such as the Dutch ANVIA made similar wall lights designed by Jan Hoogervorst, in the 1950s.
