1950s Olive Green & White Glass Bedside Lamp

Materials: White opal glass diffuser. Green painted clear glass base. Brass, iron clamp. Bakelite socket.

Electricity: 1 bulb E14, 1 x 40 watt maximum, 110/220 volt.
Any type of light bulb can be used, not a specific one preferred.

Other versions: This 1950s olive green & white glass bedside lamp was probably produced in several colours.

This table or bedside lamp is made after an “old” design what you often see in the 30s and 40s. No label or markings present, unfortunately. It has an olive green painted glass base. The bottom of the base is clear. 

The wiring and switch were made in the late 50s, early 60s by an Italian company (to identify).

The plug was replaced in the late 60s, early 70s and was made by VynckierVynckier is a Belgian company from Ghent. In the early years it was named Usines Vynckier Frères et Cie (Factories Vynckier Brothers and Co.) They are located in an impressive architectural building next to the Nieuwevaart-channel. Today it is owned by the American giant General Electric
