Cosmo Table Lamp

Materials: Round pinewood base. White opal glass half globe lampshade. Some plastic and metal parts. Bakelite E27 socket.

Height: 18,8 cm / 7.40”

Width: ∅ 19,4 cm / 7.63”

Electricity: 1 bulb E27, 1 x 60 watt maximum, 110/220 volt.
Any type of light bulb can be used. But a white, opaque or frosted bulb is preferred.

Period: 1970s, 1980s – Mid-Century Modern.

Designer: To be appraised.

Manufacturer: Cosmo Designs LTD, United Kingdom.

Other versions: For the moment it is unknown if this Cosmo table lamp exists in several varieties.

Cosmo Designs LTD

Not much information to be found about the company, but Cosmo Designs LTD was active in the 1970’s and 1980’s.

They produced lamps that all had the looks of other lamps. “Inspired by”, as they say. Designs in the style of Harvey Guzzini (below), Roger Tallon and many others.

(The original Harvey Guzzini Onda lamp has 4 tubes and a bulb on top, the one below has 3 chromed tubes)
