This light has no marks or the label is disappeared, but all the electric parts are made by the VLM company from Bucanisco near Milan in Italy. The switch is designed in 1968 by Achille Castiglioni, so this lamp is a most likely a bit younger.
The wiring and plug are 1960s; in the 1970s VLM produced different plugs, sockets and wires. The Vistosi company used this type of wiring for many years.
Similar lamps were designed by Wayne Husted since the 1950s for the American company Blenko from West Virginia. Wayne still makes this kind of lamps.
